  1. Hey Kevin another comment I have, and maybe you can help me answer it. I don't know if this is just a Motorola issue, on every other phone I've had, I was able to use the SD card to have apps be sent to the SD card, where as motorola won't let a user send the apps to their SD card, would you know why that would be?

  2. Take the perfectly fine Moto G Power.
Downgrade the cpu from a 665 to a 662, which is the reject bin and draws 9watts instead of 5, and is slightly slower, thus reducing the battery life. Downgrade the ram from 4GB to 3GB, and storage from 64gb to 32gb, while cutting the SSD speed in half.
Downgrade the screen from 1080p to 720p, and remove the wide angle camera. Oh, also, remove the ability to record in 4K, and take the amazing stereo speakers, and downgrade it to a mono speaker. Reduce the max charging speeds from 18w to 15w. Re-release as the Moto G Power (2021) and hope nobody notices… Profit?

    What the fuck Motorola!?!?
You shouldn't have spent a cent on research and development.

You should have taken the 2020, released it in brand new colors, maybe make a glass back version for shits and giggles for an extra $50, and called it 2021, while also throwing in an extra year of updates so they both get 2 years support, and the 2020 gets 3.

  3. Motorola killed both of these phones imo by giving them big ugly bezels, no nfc, only Android 10 out the box, and sorry slow processors. And those cameras on the back in the top middle of the phone is hideous.
Come on Motorola/Lenovo, I know these are budget devices but this is 2021. Get with the times.

  4. how does the battery life compare between the 2? I would think the play would get better battery with its lower end processor. Also I would like to know how the battery life stacks up against the power 2020
