  1. I don't know who decided we all wanted phablets again. I mean a 5.9" to 6.2" in 20:9 aspect is PLENTY big. Plus you don't have to carry your phone in your laptop bag. 🙄🙄🙄

  2. I used to be keen on getting a smaller phone, thought i happen to get a moto g9 plus (mainly due to specs/price ratio), and i have to say that i got used to it really quickly, and don't see it as a problem anymore. Well, unless i see myself in the mirror with the phone against my face.

  3. Just got the S10e and couldn't be more happy. Got it for 450euro after I sold my Pixel 4a which cost me the same. Definitely worth a look in 2021 as it provides a lot more value over the 4a for the same price and it should get updates for another 2 years at least.

  4. Is there a compact phone that supports 5g, 90Hz+ refresh, few years of OS updates and with a price below 350€, everything else can be w.e, my search landed me with a conclusion that there are no phones that have all those prerequisites that i am looking for..

  5. the pixel phone…. the phone made by Google after testing with Motorola brand….. when they had what they wanted and learned just in case they messed up…. they sold moto off and Pixel kept everything that was the best.

  6. Google are proper bastards lol. All they had to do was not make the 4a and 4a 5G. They just needed to make the 5 (Like the old nexus line up), lower the price to £399-£450, add a headphone jack and offer 5 years worth of OS updates. 4A 5G price has come down to £399 but still to expensive for a phone that will only last 2 years. That’s the one thing I used to like about Apple (up until the original IPhone SE) is the longevity. OS updates for 5 years and decent hardware. Apple could have just released the 12 Mini with the new Touch ID sensor on the power button, a 3.5mm jack and lowered the price significantly, still would have made a lot of money.

  7. I really wanted a compact phone, but they're too damn expensive! Asus zen phone 8 was £500 so just bought a Xiaomi Redmi note 10, 6.43 inch for £160 happy days

  8. If something here tickles your fancy, you can see full unboxings/reviews right here on Tech Spurt. Here's hoping I can update this video again soon with more (some??) budget options…

  9. why do u have to exaggerate the battery capacity of zenfone 8 it's 4k mah nd with 120hz turned on so it's not fair to underestimate the phone

  10. The Pixel 4a is still an awesome smaller device. There's something about being able to type with one hand without having to stretch your hand over the entire device.

  11. Lol. Avoid IPhone se but not IPhone 12 mini? The SE is still smaller, considering the screen is still lower than the 12 mini. There's plenty other issues with iphones to stay sway, but for a compact phone, the SE is still better than the mini

  12. I am so pissed I destroyed my p20 by forgetting it in my pocket and throwing it in the washing machine, it was 5´9 inches screen and perfect in my hand. Now I got a real me 6 and it's too chunky.

  13. A tad harsh on the iPhone SE. It's a solid performer and will get you through a day with moderate use. GPS, Facetime and heavy gaming will drain the battery very quickly though. It's great for browsing and social media. The camera is actually very good under most conditions but the lack of night mode is a shame. You also will get several years of Apple updates and apps are always better optimised for iOS devices so it's a cheap way to get onto the Apple ecosystem.

  14. You still don’t reply to comments🤦‍♂️. What’s the purpose of not interacting with your viewers 😑

  15. I miss the xperia compact. Hope sony can make a 5.5" 21:9 with a 4000mah. Currently using the galaxy note 10 as it's a compact enough with slim bezels. Only problem is the exynos battery drain.

  16. Great review…"100% avoid iPhone SE2020". No way…one of my all-time favourites (albeit I'm not a heavy user). Love your reviews though…make me laugh out loud.😂

  17. Quick reminder: screen size alone doesn't determine how easy it is to reach all 4 corners of a screen with one hand; you also have to take into consideration the size of the phone's bezels which on most recent smartphones have become so slim that it's possible to add an extra inch of screen without making the phone's body any larger, hence why the Samsung S10e is almost the same size as the Xperia XZ1 Compact despite there being a 1.3 inch difference in screen size.

  18. Ok I have watched 1 second of your video just to make a prediction that the Asus ZenFone 8 will be the winner of this category. Why do you even make these types of videos?

  19. US$200 for the Unihertz Jelly 2 is too much. Something with almost 2-year-old software should be less than half that.
The iPhone 12 mini, when I tried switching to a smaller phone factor…ended up being too small for me. I took it back and got the Pixel 5. 6" with that slim bezel is small enough to fit into my jeans, but remains big enough to easily read and watch videos.
